A lucid and painful portrait of the courage of Mariasilvia Spolato, a successful math teacher in the early 1970s and the first woman in Italy to openly declare her homosexuality. Founder of the historic magazine Fuori! and the Homosexual Liberation Front, her fight for the rights of the LGBT community will lead her to lose everything, from her career as a math teacher to her family. By bringing her memory to life, Io non sono nessuno represents the redemption denied her in life.
